How to Purchase Firearms
SWVA Arms sells firearms only in accordance with Federal, State, and Local firearm laws. To Purchase Firearms Online:- You must be 18 or older to purchase long guns and 21 or older to purchase hand guns. Check your local & state laws.
- Federal firearms laws prevents SWVA Arms from shipping firearms directly to individuals without a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL), however we can ship them to a local FFL Holder near you.
- Verify that the firearm you wish to purchase from SWVA Arms meets the laws of your State, City, or County.
- Add your firearm(s) to your cart and continue through the Checkout process. Note: Firearms are shipped by Flat Rate Shipping. Long guns are shipped by UPS Ground, or you can select 2nd Day Shipping for an increased charge. Handguns are automatically shipped 2nd Day.
- You must choose an FFL Holder that we will be shipping your firearm to. Use our “Find an FFL Dealer Near Me” link under our “Help & Information” section to assist you in identifying an FFL holder near you that will accept the transfer of your firearm. This can be your local Gun Shop, Pawn Shop, Gun Range or any other location that holds a current FFL and will help with your transaction.

- Contact your FFL and let them you would like to transfer a firearm from SWVA Arms. This transaction is solely between you and the FFL holder.
- Once your FFL holder receives your firearm, you will need to pick it up.
- Upon arrival at your FFL, inspect your firearm to make certain that everything is acceptable before filling out the necessary paperwork.
- Once the transfer of the firearm is complete, the manufacturer's warranty is then in effect and from that point on any complications with the firearm will need to be handled by the manufacturer.
